With guidance from experienced instructors, students build confidence, develop practical skills and learn how live production works—giving them a strong foundation to continue learning, gain work opportunities or take the next step in the AV industry.
Meet The Curriculum Developer
Founded by Clayton Bobb, Precise AV Solutions is built on more than 25 years of hands-on experience in professional audio, live production, and technical education. Clayton’s career spans roles as a DJ, audio engineer, curriculum developer and mentor—bringing a rare combination of technical mastery and educational leadership to the company.
A graduate of Trebas Institute, Clayton’s passion for audio and studio engineering led him to establish Precise AV Solutions as both a professional audio-visual service provider and a learning academy. Throughout his career, Clayton has had the opportunity to work with notable Canadian figures including UFC Lightweight Champion Georges St-Pierre, astronaut Chris Hadfield and award-winning singer-songwriter Deborah Cox. He has also successfully led multiple workshops in partnership with community organizations and houses of worship, expanding access to professional-grade audio-visual education.
Precise AV Solutions has facilitated several well-received programs such as L.S.A. (Lights, Sound & Action) at Yorkwoods Theatre, About Stage at For Youth Initiative (FYI) and DO’C Stars at Denis O’Connor Catholic High School—each attracting strong student participation and fostering creative confidence. Building on this momentum, the company went on to produce Durham Rising Stars, showcasing talent from across the region.
Today, Precise AV Solutions continues to operate as an independent audio-visual service provider, mentor and educator—delivering high-quality production solutions while empowering artists, technicians and communities through hands-on learning and professional guidance.
